Walter Home Stories with Leandra Nef

Walter Home Stories mit Leandra Nef

In the Walter Home Stories series we introduce various personalities and their living spaces.
Walter visits Leandra Nef in Zurich District 3. The flowers are fromBlumenpost .

I research stories, interview people and write texts for «annabelle», record my life on film and collect fashion and furniture that have stories to tell.
My 28-square-meter attic apartment may not offer endless space for treasures, but it is all the more homely.

Your two favorite ice cream flavors?
Mare di Nutella and Amarena.

If you could travel through time, where would you go?
Into the nineties, but not as a child like back then, but as a twentysomething.

In 1990, Peter Lindbergh's legendary "Vogue" cover with Naomi, Linda, Tatjana, Christy and Cindy ushered in the supermodel era. Later, the Tamagotchi was invented, the butt antlers were pierced over every other coccyx, and - pop culture at its finest - Carrie Bradshaw floated through Manhattan as an aspiring columnist in Manolos. A crazy decade. And a promising one. At least in the eyes of a lifestyle journalist like me, who only knows the legendary gatherings of the fashion industry of those years from romanticized stories and would have nothing against a writer's life in New York shortly before the turn of the millennium.

Your favorite furniture at home?
My walnut sideboard from the fifties.

I got it during a warehouse clearance of a Zurich film production company. It is said to have played a supporting role in a commercial for a Swiss health insurance company.
