According to a Chinese legend, God was so moved by a monk's sincerity and loyalty that he praised him by sending thousands of colorful flowers down from heaven. The moment the flowers reached the ground, they turned into glowing stones.
These stones can be found today in the Yangtze River in Nanjing and are featured as a photograph for this print.
