The Danish brand Hay has collaborated with the famous Swiss furniture manufacturer Dietiker to pay tribute to the famous Swiss designer Bruno Rey (1935-2019). For the occasion, the iconic "Rey" collection, designed by Bruno Rey in 1971, has been given new dimensions and a completely new color palette specially selected by Hay. Rey is the first patented chair with a screwless wood-metal connection and is described by the Swiss Design Museum in Zurich as "the most successful Swiss piece of furniture of all time". With over a million units sold, this chair is a timeless work of art. The Rey collection consists of a chair, stools and tables, has retained the typical uniform silhouette and the innovative screwless manufacturing process, but has been made more contemporary with new dimensions and colors. The collection is as solid as the original Rey collection, the flagship of the Dietiker house, and has lost none of its charm: the finish is still just as robust and the rounded edges just as distinctive.
