Strips Sofa

At the beginning of the 1970s, the architect and designer Cini Boeri revolutionized the furniture market with the modular sofa Strips, which is part of Arflex's history and became one of the Italian sofa brand's most famous designs. It was designed in 1968 and won the Compasso d'Oro award. The quilted cover and the modular constellation are the main features of this design classic. Today it is exhibited in several museums around the world, for example at the Triennale in Milan, in Tokyo or at the MoMa in New York.

The padding is an integral part of the cover, which is mounted on a wooden frame made of molded polyurethane with differentiated density to ensure the best seating comfort.
