Chair 811 without armrest

The great classic. The most famous, best-selling and most copied piece in the history of furniture. Chair No. 14, designed by Michael Thonet in 1860, was immediately identified as the bistro chair.

Minimalist in the use of materials and the number of pieces it is made of, namely just six, N. 14 is the result of almost twenty years of technological research. Simple, versatile and contemporary, it is considered the first example of industrial design. Its structure is made up of solid beech elements that have been masterfully bent using steam. The backrest and the rear legs are made in one piece.

Available with woven seat or solid wood and in various colors.
